Enamel Immersion Residency

ShippoLab’s flagship Kyoto residency invites designers, perfumers, and spatial storytellers to co-create cloisonné murals and communal ritual objects. Participants work alongside master artisans, exploring enameling techniques through sensory-driven research.

Residency Arc

Phase 1 · Grounding

Embodied research, tactile meditation, and archive studies focused on cloisonné symbolism and kiln ecology.

Phase 2 · Co-Creation

Residents pair with master artisans to translate concepts into enamel panels and modular sculptural elements.

Phase 3 · Resonance

Collective installations are unveiled through a multi-sensory salon with sound, scent, and narrative performances.
